Crochet Christmas Bell Ornament

Crochet Christmas Bell Ornament

These Crochet Christmas Bell Ornaments are the perfect project to decorate your Christmas tree with. They are beautiful and rather simple to crochet and only take less than 10 minutes! I used white 100% acrylic yarn and metallic cord together to be able to crochet these bells as I wanted to make them have a shiny appearance and because I couldn’t find any nice metallic yarn. My local yarn stores are severely lacking with great choices but if you have metallic yarn you are welcome to use that. Below is the written pattern for you to be able to learn how to crochet these easy Christmas Bells Ornaments.

You can find many more tutorials on our YouTube Channel, All Craft TV, so come on over and check it out, we’d love to see you there: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6HyBV43QNsH8YKCD3chMuQ

Form a magic ring using the white yarn and silver cord together (2 strands act as 1 strand and form 1 ring)

Round 2: Ch 1 (counts as 1 st from here onwards), sk first st and sc 2 into 2nd st, *sc 2 in each st*, rep * to * around, sl st to first ch 1 to finish the round (12 sc)

Round 4: Ch 1, sk first st, sc 2 into 2nd st, *sc 1 into next st, sc 2 into next st*, rep * to * around, sl st to first ch 1 to finish the round (18 sc)
Round 5-9: Ch 1, sk first st and sc 1 in 2nd st, *sc 1 in each st*, rep * to * around, sl st to first ch 1 to finish the round (18 sc)
Round 10: Ch 1, sk first st, sc 2 into 2nd st, *sc 1 into next st, sc 2 into next st*, rep * to * around, sl st to first ch 1 to finish the round (27 sc)
Round 11: Ch 1, sk first st and *sc 1 in each st*, rep * to * around, sl to first ch 1 to finish the round (27sc)

Secure the work at the end of round 11 and weave in the ends.

Attach a strand of metallic cord approx. 12 cm or 4.7 inches in length to the top of both bells (middle of round 1) by tying the strands together into a knot to form a loop. Use a yarn needle feed the loop through the middle (top of the bell) to form a hanging loop to be able to hang the Christmas bell on your tree as an ornament or as a garland.
